I made a mistake getting the 6 cylinder. No get up and go in this family truckster. Shes real slow. Not the best gas mileage either only 18 mpg so far. The back seat is very shallow and lacks seat height necessary for an adult to be comfortable
Fit and finish isn't on par with its competitors, and rear-seat comfort is just so-so. ESC and curtain air bags are both standard. Reliability has been well below average.
Q: Do you own a 2008/2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee? How do you like it?
Would you recommend it? Pros and Cons?
A: I don't own the new model GC, I do however own a 1996 GC LTD with the 4.0L I6 engine. Its been a great truck for me and the odometer reading is 193,508 miles right now and still runs great. I average 18city/24highway mpg.
Since Chrysler screwed up and quit using the 4.0L I6 engines plus went to push button 4x4 in them I won't even look at the new models. I'll just keep repairing mine.
By the way the 4x4 systems shouldn't be that bad to service since you should be taking care of the vehicle in the first place. I recommend getting the service contract through the dealership, as since all maintenance would be done through the dealer anything that goes wrong would get covered under the warranty since the service department missed the problem or refused to look at it like chevrolet did with one of my cars.
Jeeps are great, but the new V6 engines and the V8's are terrible gas hogs.
Jeeps are great on and offroad, and they are greatly sought after in snow country.
Q: Lease a Jeep Or Buy?
I'am having trouble deciding on leasing a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2009 (july 2009) or try buying a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited/Sport. Which do you think is a better choice and why? thanks..
A: if you can lease id say try to buy a new car right now is when the dealers are trying to get rid of the 08 models to make room for the 09 models so they will almost give the new ones away dont lease a car and if you buy a new one jeep has the unlimited warranty for lifetime so you can own it for as long as you want too why 'rent' a car when you can own one good luck my man
Q: All of the following US-made autos run on BEANS or SUGAR CANE. Why are these cars inappropiate for Americans?
