Q: Is there hookups for Subs in a OEM 2007 Jeep Liberty Stereo?
My girlfriend just bought a 2007 Jeep Liberty Limited with Sirus/6 disc changer and steering wheel controls. She wants me to put in her old subwoofer system into her new car. I wanted to know if the OEM unit has hook ups for this or if there is an adapter or something? I have a 05' Frontier that had the same thing from the factory and I bought a new Headunit, had to buy the adpater for the steering wheel controls and lost the disc changer. Trying to avoid this at all costs.
A: Unfortunately no. You can go to crutchfield or any reputable stereo shop and get a crossover to take a signal off one of the speaker wires and convert it for subs.

i drive a 2007 black jeep liberty with tinted windows, chrome running boards and a chrome grill. i need some suggestions on what i can do to my car to make it look more like a mans car, regarding rims, body kit, etc. i would prefer the cheapest way to make it look better

The spare is mounted on the back of the tailgate so there is no jack underneath it.

I just had the oil changed and now the service light is on. It is close to the thirty thousand scheduled mile maintenance.
A: you push the step button until it says 0 miles to service. hold the reset button and it will reset.
Q: why does my seat belt lock up under normal driving conditions in my 2007 jeep liberty?
when i reach forward toward the dash or glove box my seat belt locks up and will not let me lean forward again. I have to unbuckle at the latch and rebuckle.
A: It should only lock when you punch on the brakes heavily if it is doing so with out that than it is a Safety issue. No matter weather out of warranty or not .Chrysler cares about the safety of it's customers and will fix that usually at no cost to you because of the safety issue don't try to fix this your self take it to your local Chrysler dealer and have it fixed at minimal cost or probably even nothing .Thanks

Q: Help! Does anyone know how to turn off passenger side airbag on a 2007 Jeep Liberty?
I can't find my owner's manual & I have to drive with a carseat in the front this morning.

A: There is no manual shut-off. If whatever (whoever) is in the seat doesn't weigh enough the air bag will not deploy. I don't know the exact weight, but it was designed so that children will not get whacked by the airbag, so you should be fine.
Q: Should I buy a 2007 Jeep Liberty?
My wife and I are shopping around for new cars and she really likes the look of the Jeep Liberty. We already know it isn't going to get the greatest gas mileage and not the smoothest ride. I just want to know how people feel about, who have owned one or know anyone that has. We are just trying to cover all the bases. Pricing is another issue, but that is for another time, another place. Thanks for the help.
A: It is a great vehicle,it has a very nice ride and gas mileage is not that bad.Wait until September and you will get a very good deal with the new redesigned vehicle coming out.I wouldn't believe howard s,I read some of his other answers and he is just a foreign car lover.
Q: What would be the mpg in my 2007 Jeep liberty ?
We have been doing alot of traveling around and we have figured out that we get 31mpg highway 23-24 city. are these numbers possible on a 3.7 litre V6 gas engine ?

A: That seems pretty high, considering that the EPA rates a 2wd Liberty with a Manual Transmission (best for MPG) at 15
City, 21 Hwy.
To calculate fuel mileage, you need to make sure you fill your tank so that it is all the way full every time and reset your trip odometer after each fill-up. Then you can take the number of miles that you traveled and divide it by the number of gallons that it took to fill the tank.
If you traveled 300 miles and it took 10 gallons of fuel to fill the tank..... 300/10 = 30MPG.

A: Go ahead and buy a service manual- it will tell you more than you will ever need to know if you want to work on it yourself and if you don't want to work on it at least you can talk to a mechanic about it intelligently!

Q: how do i deactivate the seatbelt dinger on my 2007 jeep liberty..it drives me nuts...?
Im pretty sure it has something to do with the fuse box inside my car but im not sure which fuse it is..i've looked in the owners manual and of course they aren't gonna tell you how to deactivate it because its a "safety feature" yea yea yea..PLEASE HELP!!!

Q: problems with jeep liberty...brand new 2007?
On April 10, my husband and I purchased a black 2007 jeep liberty sport and I have regretted it since that day. Its been in the shop on average once a week. The first thing that happened was the torque converter was bad. It felt like we were riding a horse. Well the dealership told us it was ok to drive with it bad so we drove 2 hours to my maternal fetal medicine specialist appointment. We had to take it back because after they replaced the torque converter, it was stuttering and having problems accellerating. FInally they reprogrammed the computer for the transmission and torque converter. It still seems to be driving funny. Has anybody else had problems with their liberty? What did you end up doing?
A: If it's new it's under warranty, keep taking it back until it is fixed to your satisfaction. Also check the lemon laws for your state just in case. You can probably get a loaner vehicle while yours is being fixed.
